Estudio Lamela

The Discovery Building is an office building constructed by Estudio Lamela between 2015 and 2017. Located on Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, one of the major corporate and business hubs of the city, it stands out as an exemplary sustainable architecture.

The building has been designed with open floor plans that allow each tenant to organize their space while ensuring access to natural light. While the southern facade overlooks a domestic courtyard, the northern facade faces Estébanez Calderón Street, directly across from the headquarters of the National Institute of Statistics. This provides a unique and colorful view that is reflected in the building's open concept design.

studio erreme has captured a series of photographs at the offices for Estudio Lamela during their Open Day event. The Open Day offered a unique opportunity for the public to step inside the building and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the workspace. Visitors had the chance to explore the office environment, interact with the team members, and gain a deeper understanding of Estudio Lamela's architectural projects and design philosophy.
